Kingsbury County Published Resources
The following is a list of many of the Kingsbury County history and genealogical books which are available for reference. Some of these books are available through interlibrary loan. If you cannot find them, KCGS has copies of many of these books. Most of these histories were done during the recent centennial celebrations in the state and are not in print. If you have a copy, please let me know so we can arrange to get an index or a copy. If you have a copy of the numerous church celebrations in the county, let us know. Check with the archives at SDSU in Brookings, SD at http://accessarchives.sdstate.edu or email at arcrefs@sdstate.edu or request them by way of interlibrary loan from your local library. Lake Preston and De Smet libraries have many of these books too and are not on SDLN.
Many of the libraries in the state list their holdings in the SDLN online catalog. Most of the books can be obtained by interlibrary loan.
